Misconduct will not be tolerated. Any thrower that refuses to follow the direction of the coaches or the posted rules will be asked to leave immediately.
No refunds will be issued.
All throwers and spectators must complete and sign our liability waiver.
Throwers must be 12 years of age, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and have a parent or guardian sign a waiver for them.
Note that if coaches have reason to doubt the capabilities of a minor (or ANY thrower) to throw an axe safely, they will not allow them to participate.
No opened-toed shoes allowed.
No alcohol allowed inside the trailer. Visibly intoxicated patrons will not be allowed to throw.
Only two throwers may enter the trailer or lane(s) at the same time.
Only axes provided or approved by Brewer Creek Axe Throwing coaches are to be use in the trailer or related axe throwing activities.
Only one axe is to be used per target and only one thrower per target.
Never touch the axe blade (bit) – THEY ARE SHARP. Replace axes to magnets when not in use.
Only retrieve axe after both axes stopped moving.
Remove the axe from the target by “shimming the axe”. Do not pull the axe directly out and NEVER place your hand on the target area.
Pass the axe to the next thrower with the handle (grip) extended toward the next thrower.
No dangerous or trick shots will be tolerated.
Do not throw an axe if anyone is in front of you or near the target.
